Why Homeownership is the Best Investment

Is it better to rent or buy a home? While personal finances need to be taken into account when answering that question in most cases buying a home is a better investment.

Two reasons make buying a home a better choice than renting. The first reason is that in most markets owning a home costs the same ,or less than, renting. The second, property values often continue to grow even when stock prices do not.

The total National Homeowner Equity rate increased by 1.5 trillion dollars in 2020. Home prices increase in 2021 by 11.3% meaning that the overall equity has increased by 16.2% year over year.
